Time is flying!!!
I just can not believe that Coen is so close to 8 months old!! It is just unreal. He has learned soo much in the past month that I just shake my head. he is now pulling himself up on anything and everything, and absolutly loves to play with his toys. It is so nice to have him be able to entertain himself now! He also loves talking. he has found his voice and things have never been the same. He talks and makes noises to compliment his toys banging together. It is soo much fun! a little loud but fun. He also has discovered how to sing. Normally when I put him down, I sing him to sleep, but when I stop humming, he starts making hmm hmm sounds until i start back up again! It is soo much fun. He also has 3 new teeth, making a grand total of 5. at first it was hard cuz he would grind them together, but he's stopped and now it is just a ton of fun. Well that is our monthly update!!

The Parade!
Aug 8:
Today we went to the parade with natasha and my family. It was a lot of fun! Coen seemed to pay attention to the big trucks and the horses. It was so much fun to be home! After the parade we went to my mom's and sat around and talked and played. Coen really likes playing with my mom's dog, Scotty. And scotty is really good to him.

1st of July and the rest of June
July 7:
June was such a fun month. Coen has learned how to roll over and now sports 2 new teeth. He eats three meals a day and is learning how to drink from his sippy cup. He still isn't a fan of sleeping by himself... but I don't mind. He's a good cuddle buddy!
For July 1 we went to Waterton with Aaron's parents. It was a lot of fun. We saw the waterfalls, and a LOT of deer. And coen also had his first taste of icecream. It kind of irritated his tummy... so we won't be doing that for a while.
That was a pretty good summary of june!

Well this is Coen's monthly update. He is getting soo big! He is just starting to eat Rice Cereal and he really likes it! He is also mimicking our laughs a lot. Which is alway entertaining. We also got a set of shots this month and another hair cut!!

First day out!
April 10:
Today was our first trip to Calgary! We went to get Coen some easter presents. He slept the entire way up! When we got there we went straight to the disney store where we got him a goofy and a donald stuffed animal. After that we went to Old Navy and spent his Easter money from this grandparents on clothes and a swimsuit. It was just a lot of fun! We also bought some ready made formula in a can... thinking it would be practical. Wow.... It gave him the worst case of the runs EVER! It was just a mess!! Wouldn't recommend that to anyone!

First Hair cut!

Today was Coen's first hair cut. The salon just laughed at me when I asked if they would cut his hair, but he really did look like a little girl! He slept through the whole thing! It was quite fun!

Trauma with mom!
This week was probabl
y the hardest week of my life thus far! I woke up in the early am of tuesday morning in the most unbelieveable pain I have ever had... yes worse than labour pains. I went immediatly to the hospital and found out that I had gall stones. They doped me up with morphine and sent me home, saying that if the pain got worse... to come back in. so wednesday morning I was back in! The doctors sent me to an ultrasound tech and they decided to do a scope to get the stones out. So i had to stay the night in the hospital. Away from my baby who was 6 weeks old. It was awful! Meanwhile... Aaron was trying to pack up the entire house and get us moved by the end of feburary to a new house! It was such a wreck. They did the scope and found that I was already passing the stones which was bad... So they made me stay another night so that I could get the gall bladder taken out the next morning. So another night without Coen. It was sooo hard!!! Aaron was trying to pass Coen around to family so that he could get things done, and Coen was so thrown out of his routine that he was so confused. I went into surgury the next day around 4 pm. My mom had come in and taken Coen home with her so that I could sleep better knowing my mom was in charge. So Coen had his first sleepover ever with Grandma C. The next morning I was discharged and went straight to my baby shower!!! I don't htink I have ever been that happy to see Coen in my entire life. I held him the whole time.
